I handle all issues arising from Estate Planning and Elder Law for Clients living in Long Island, NYC, Westchester and Rockland. This includes preparing Trust and Wills and other Planning documents, assisting families when a loved one passes away, creating a Supplemental Needs Trust for a disabled family member and protecting assets as you or your parents start to age.
My office is Virtual! This means that most of our communication will be via email or scheduled zoom calls. If there are documents that are ready to be executed then we can meet in person. This can be at your home or an office space I have nearby.
A virtual estate planning process is largely identical to our in-person estate planning process. I achieve this by conducting all meetings via Zoom, beginning with your initial Strategy Session. After that initial meeting, I will securely delivers your estate planning documents to you electronically. At our next virtual meeting, we use Zoom’s screen sharing functionality to walk you through the documents in the same manner we would in person. Execution is then handled on a case-by-case basis depending on your preferences, as is discussed in more detail below.
After you receive your Drafts, you are invited to participate in an estate planning meeting with me via Zoom video conference. This allows us to chat face-to-face, and provides an opportunity for seamless document review via Zoom’s screen sharing and markup capabilities.
No. As we all know from the Pandemic, Zoom is a free and easy to use tool that is accessible from your computer or smartphone. When you schedule a meeting, I will send you a link directing you to the meeting with just one click.
I understand that it can be difficult to process information received electronically. Although we can display and review all of the documents via Zoom screen sharing, many clients prefer to print the documents to refer to them during our meeting. In the event you do not have a printer at home but would like to review hard copies, we’re happy to arrange to have the documents delivered to your home.
Execution is handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the individual client’s circumstances and comfort level. Many clients choose to execute their documents at home or we can arrange for those documents to be executed at our offices at your convenience or at another location convenient to you.
The only way to start the process is to book a package from this website.
My contact information will be given to you when you book a package. You can call email me with any questions in regards to your case or on any other matter. We are committed to returning all calls and emails within 48 hours.
Once you schedule a strategy session with me, I will send over a list of documents that will be helpful to bring to the strategy session if available.
